Depends, I'll have to see how hard it is to keep the 6 year old on task with school work during the quarantine period

The grandad stories have me a little envious. I don't have any real stories about mine. One died before I was born, the other was in full blown Alzheimer's by the time I was 8.

He grew up in Philips Wisconsin. He was a green bay Packers fan. He was born in 1921. Dude worked until is health declined. I think if he would have retired when he could have he would have passed sooner. Work kept him going.

The compass is old, but still works. Its more sentimental than anything.

I never knew my grandfather on my paternal side. He passed before I was born. My dad's mom remarried but my step grandfather died in an accident before I was born. My grandfather "Tom". My mom's dad was kuul as hell. Was a mason and a Mason. A mason by trade. Had his own masonary business. Just before his death he had 260+ employees. Yard based quite near Dodger Stadium. He had several season passes for the Dodgers. He took me to my first Dodger game. 1964. The stadium was new. I was 9. I remember a lot of beer drinking. Saw Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale, among other Dodger greats from that era. Now.."Mason"....my grandpa Tom, was 32nd Degree with the Masonic Lodge in Southgate, Kali. I remember the Xmas show the Mason's would put on every year. I'm 65 and still remember that. He was involved with the Rainbow Girls and Demoley Boys fund raising. He happened to pass in 1980. I was TDY in Okinawa at the time. The CO called me to his office and told me that he talked to my Uncle Larry. My mom's brother. Retired from the Army after 30 years. That's another story. Anyways, my Uncle Larry told my CO not to let me go home. My grandpa was already buried. Hundreds of folks showed up for the funeral. It was decided to let me me know after the fact. "Tom" told me he was in the "barefoot" Navy. He immigrated from Ireland. Born in 1903. Served on a sub in WWI! Not sure what Sub. I guess I should research that. There is so much more I can say here. Too much time taking up Friday night !!

I don't actually have a Rattler (can't have the giggle switch anyway over here), but I do have two MCX and one MCX Hybrid. One of the three is a 6.75" 300 BO, so only 1.25" longer than the Rattler (and compatible with more options).
they are great running setups. Would love to get to run one with the third position on the selector, even if just once.

Sliced myself good today, 2.5-3” and pretty deep. It wasn’t even a slice as much as it was blunt force. Of course it was on sheet metal, but I was using my wrist as leverage against a unit to try and pop a shark bite free. It popped free and then I felt a weird pressure on my wrist! Nothing a little super glue won’t hold together for the weekend!
All this talk of hurting yourself, it was my turn today! 715E7A95-5A1F-4D85-B833-FD02FCF00EA9.jpg

Stranger will have to do tonight!

I’m actually surprised I don’t slice myself more often, up in the lid there are sooooo many sharp things from framing and duct work. The one lightbulb changer at this building is actually really good and will try to insulate or cover any sharp edges he finds, but one always gets you, even if your trying to be careful!

Thanks, it’s merely a flesh wound! I feel like a bitch talking about it in a thread compiled of bionic men and their horror stories.

it will take a while to heal because it’s in a active movement spot
