I want that to be the case. Not going to work with the supplied hardware though :(

On the road home from an awesome trip! Bre and I took an extra day to see some family and go camp by a lake.

Grabbed these two off my camera. More pics and such to come soon!

Alrighty! San G 6.redux trip alternate. Went out to AZ!

Packed up during the week, and come Friday morning Moose was all “I know you guys are planning something and there’s NO WAY you’re leaving me behind. I am not moving unless it’s to get into the truck.”
    5C0569EB-B171-462E-8910-07324CF311EA.jpg

We never leave him for trips, so obviously he came

Hit the road Friday AM and motored out to Sedona.
    FB82B7E5-925E-421C-A882-C63AEF5041FF.jpg

Ran up the 17 to drop into Schnebly Hill from the top.
Met up with a few friends who had camped there the night prior and set up camp while we waited for the rest of the group to arrive.

Saturday morning packed up and headed down The ol’ bumpy Schnebly.
    3C71031F-87B1-4A8F-8E0A-12CE9BB30FEA.jpg

Once at the bottom we made our way to Broken Arrow. Had a great time on the trail! (Minus a few angry Jeepers)

After Broken Arrow we got gas, lunch, aired up and made our way towards our next camp making a detour to Crackerjack Mine Trail.
Forgot to take pics, but here’s some pinstripes!
    75FD802A-8849-405B-989C-D9DADA794A43.jpg

This is where my trip planning started to fall short. We were running out of daylight quick! While I enjoy night driving, it’s less than ideal to locate and set up camp in the dark. Also had the hiccup of my preferred camp spots being occupied, then took the group on a 30 mile dirt tour trying to find a suitable replacement site. We eventually did, set up, made dinner, and had a pretty quiet night.
    1CBCFB5A-F243-437B-A028-3D0175320062.jpg

About 2am the weather took a turn for the worse and started pouring! It was pretty cool camping in the rain considering we were nice and dry in the tent. We packed up almost all the night prior as we were anticipating rain just didn’t know when it would start.
    5AF8E598-87D9-41BC-9C2F-1F136AE9CF4E.jpg

We were all pretty quick to get out of there and start making the trek home. My fiancée has family in AZ so we parted ways, said good byes, and hit the road.

Spent a few hours with her family and then made way to our solo camp site for the night. Parked right up on the water!
    Love this spot!
    D8F10D83-1BEC-4475-8D8C-B2BFAA20629E.jpg 5218A1A6-31D6-4381-BE6C-C408B8D69CAA.jpg 88E77E75-7C2F-4227-B406-651B9F0B472B.jpg

Next day, we hit the road once again. From Primm to Baker there’s a dirt bypass to take if there’s traffic on the 15. There wasn’t traffic but we took it anyways with the hopes to see some wildlife. Didn’t spot any, but a couple bonus hours of dirt is always fun!

Anyways. That’s about it. Made it home safely. Couple new scratches and dents, but that is all a part of the fun!

That crossmember should look like this minus the dirt
Also sounds like you just need a bigger size up on the bolt.

Rad, I guessed correctly! Ok. Thank you! That’s how mine are in there.

Yeah. Gotta snag bigger bolts so they’re on there right.

Nothing happening on the truck lately but Moose got into this white stuff that confused him at first but turns out he enjoys it!

Getting camping gear prepped while Bre runs to the grocery store. Taking her family out camping this weekend, not a heavy off road trip, more just relaxing and getting them off grid for a night. They’re not campers so this will be interesting! Haha.

While I wait here are some more Moose pics from Christmas in Utah!

Forgot to update. Family camping trip was a success! Nieces had a great time - which was a pleasant surprise since their electronics were rendered useless without cell service.
Agua Caliente hot springs are very relaxing to soak in. Definitely helped my back feel better.
Not the typical camping I’m accustomed too, we’re we’re kinda packed in there.
All in all a fun time!

Took the cheap-o Amazon pods off. They weren’t horrible, but not great either. Swapped on my BD Squadrons I had let Bre use on her t4r. Will give some good side lighting with these dark windows haha.

Not truck related: my friend, Randy, got some awesome pictures of me riding I wanted to share. First time back on my bike in a year, and there was a substantial gap before that haha. Feels so good to ride! Can’t wait to do more of this :D

*dusts off shoulder* It’s like no big deal or anything

Wasn’t too bad. Thankfully it’s a mellow track. There’s two jumps I was short landing on, one I know I can do, I tried and came up a little short and landed hard and was all “yeah I’ll save this for next time”. The other though…it’s a booster! Watched some people hit it and you just sky into the air. I’ll pass on that one haha.

Great time as always! Missed some of the fam, but got to see @nishibot which is always a pleasure!

Hit the road Friday, made it to camp at dusk. Saturday went exploring, found some rocks to crawl on the back side of the mountain and trailblazed a path up and over the mountain. Sunday hit pole line and out the train tracks to split mountain, then home. Great trip!

    Status update:

My truck is in immediate danger :monocle::sawzall::itllbuffout::help::burp::der:

    Allow me to explain.
Some of you may know my fiancée got a new Jeep Gladiator. Well, nothing can stay stock so she bought wheels pretty much immediately. There has been little room in the budget for tires so we’ve been waiting for a deal - haven’t found one - meanwhile also scanning the used market. While she doesn’t feel comfortable with used tires, I do, so been keeping an eye for tires I’d be good with and we’ll take my tires and toss them on her Jeep.
Came across a really good deal of tires and wheels. While the upfront cost is high, the wheels are in great shape and can be flipped to offset the cost. All sounds great, right! Well… I’m going to 37s a bit sooner than expected. Currently sitting at 1.8” of lift up front, no rear lift, and 8.5” width 0mm offset wheels.
Please fam, pray for my fenders, bedsides, and firewall :fingerscrossed:

You may now commence laughing at my expense. Thank you.

Ah, smart! Gods job convincing B this was her idea, and that you’ll do everything necessary to *try* to make it work. :D

Edit: shall I resend the link to those ADV fenders? :boink:
