Simple answer - unless $$ is simply no concern - wait.

You sold a 2021 to upgrade to a larger vehicle with another brand. Trading down ain’t gonna be cheap.

2022 will be “different” - but in my opinion not worth the move unless you are in need of the upgrade. Nothing most 2018 or newer owners “need” - just want.

Looks is pure preference- some like the new grille - of course some people are naturally lacking in taste too.

I’d wait it out till late 2022…there will be plenty of low miles used 2021s - and we will have more clarity on the new drivetrain. Yea m the meantime- you enjoy a more powerful truck and can dump it before the REAL problems start to set in after the warranty runs out.

Can’t beat the V8 until the 2022 beats it in every category except exhaust note.

Just like others have mention the 2021 is the last year of known history with the great V8. The 2022 is very interesting because of the horsepower rating and possibly much higher MPG. HOWEVER....buying the first year of the new model means you are the beta tester to help Toyota identify issues with the new model.

LittleTundra, very true. Think I’ll keep my 2021 Cummins for a while.

True that of 22's, but....there's no replacement for displacement... V-8 my vote!! Solid, proven, and true!!
