Schwab's used to be good. They definitely suck now. Getting new tires soon. First time not going to them. They were over $400 more than another mom and pop store. I just wish we could get a discount tire or something here.

Years ago my dad took us camping near Prineville, Orygun Duckland. I think 1966. Prineville was the 1st Schwab store. Where it started. I think Les Schwab is buried there.

I don't get there much. But I've seen the liberty bell, the Rodan museum and did the duck boat tour. The one one that had an accident and people died. Not when I was there. And the Rocky statue.
I also had cheese steaks from the two famous places. They weren't very good. I asked a local and he said John's on South street was the best.
He was correct, but South street was an adventure in Itself .

 

I’m not usually one to sing praises for a national chain, always try to use the mom and pops. But got my last set at DT and have to say I’m pretty sold. Went back for a full size spare, the cheap one I ordered had a flaw so they gave me a Falken at3 for the same price.

 

DT is quite good. They offer everything that Schwab does but DT has price matching which is impossible for Schwab. Hard to find reviews on Schwab tires. Some are branded "Mazama". The few reviews I've found, folks were wondering if the Mazama tires were made in China. LOL. Schwab tires aren't bad. Simply overpriced. Think about it. Oregon based company near Bend , Orygun Duckland. West of Bend are the Cascade Mountains. Crater Lake. Crater Lake is a caldera left from the violent explosion of.......Mt Mazama. Ha!

BTW...I now use my local mom and pop tire store. They price match DT.
