2007 tundra 5.7 v8 base radio/cd

It started That the CD player kicked out all my cds (fine it doesn’t like my music) I mostly listen to an auxiliary Sirius.. that is adjusted through my radio.
The screen on my radio started flashing strange symbols, so today I disconnected the battery hoping it would reboot… no change.
Now it only plays AM And even pushing the buttons does not change the channels
I hope to Try to repair this myself or for very little money
If anyone can give me any suggestions

 

Do you have the JBL system? I have an OEM head unit from a 2008 that works fine if you need. PM me if interested.

 

Whaaat?? Mine kept my CDs... im mad cuz I actually paid money for them.... guess thats what I get for being honest... lol

 

Our 2008 sequioa does the same thing occasionally, but not this bad.

Any fix other than to outright replace?
