When i bough my truck it came with this shock25001-138_v1_20110706.jpg King Coilover. Two questions: Can this shock be rebuilt? If not what front shock should I get? That possibly levels the truck out.

They can indeed be rebuilt. Usual life span for them is 50k miles.

that is a question better suited for the locals. im out in Indiana. all my rebuilds usually involve me having to DIY it or in the case of my ICONs send them to Oregon

Get these rebuilt for sure. While they are off the truck, you can have the person rebuilding them adjust the ride height to better level out the truck.

Since these are re-buildable, I would not replace the shocks all together. Replacing these with a 5100 or 6112 would be a downgrade in my book.

Some shock re-builders won't touch the internal floating piston (IFP) Kings, which these are. I will post this in the local SoCal thread and see if they have recommendations. I hear many singing praises of @AccuTune Offroad but I don't think they do IFP shocks.

KDM Shock Technologies is a good spot in so cal. The suspension tuners may be busy right now due to the desert season starting up. There may still be a bunch of test and tune sessions out on Barstow main and the tuners will be there. You might be able to get a rebuild on site there if you make an appointment.
