Ive peeked through some posts and the latest post about tuners that I could find was from 2019, thinking there may be some new options today. I really just want better fuel mileage, getting just over 13 mpg currently. Was getting around 14.5 before I added my Decked tool box and Swiss utility cap. Are there any good options out there today that might help and hopefully not hinder with things like check engine lights and other bad stuff. My Tundra is a 2017 with a 4.6L. Thank you in advance

Not going to get any better MPG. No one buys a Tundra for the gas mileage.

About the only thing you can do to get the best MPG in a Tundra is to keep it stock, including standard load tires. Moving to E load tires you will take a MPG hit. So, drive it like a granny, keep stock size and load tires on it and don't lift it and of course keep up on the maintenance, filter changes, etc.

You can contact @dirtydeeds about tuner options, but again, do not expect much if any MPG improvement.

You can always raise the compression on the 5.7 and go E85. This should result in noticeable MPG gains. However, be prepared to dish out ~$10k. V8 life.

I did the daily driver mod:

Easily doubled my mpg but also doubled my maintenance and upkeep.
