I don’t expect many people to find this, but if you do, welcome :D

This tread is about a new relationship that has started in my life with an amazing man. Within the first few weeks of us being together he bought a project truck for us to work on together. I have always wanted to learn more about trucks and he’s always wanted a v8. He wants to teach me everything he can about the truck, and I am eager to learn.

I only see him a few times a week and only get to work on the truck every other weekend due to work schedule conflicts. But, I plan on updating this page every time we see each other to work on the truck.

With everything being said…welcome to love in a tundra :D

I mean, reg cab just means more bed. Beds are good for lots of things, including making the kids, and having a place to toss 'em after.

Right now we’re just trying to get it to run properly. It’s a 2000 and I’m pretty sure most of the parts haven’t been changed or cleaned since they were put on the truck. Once the engine and everything under the hood is squared away we’re going to turn it into a towing rig for a camper.

Highly likely the previous owner sold it for crack.

It was a farm truck before so who know. It could have been sold for crack by the guy we bought it from though.

9/27 This weekend we weren’t able to do much due to parts not being here. However, I did pressure wash some things and helped Noah find his sanity again when he got trusted after putting everything back together and realizing he still had bolts left over. I’m just glad the timing belt is back on and everything is starting to look better. We still haven’t heard anything from Toyota on the new frame but it could be a good bit before we do.

On the other hand he took me to buy my first gun and let me do some target practice at his house. Super bummed that my gun kept jamming (not ejecting shells correctly) but I took it back and they’re sending it off to be cleaned and inspected.

He also showed me how to change the oil in his Corolla. Super appreciative that someone would take time and walk me through step by step on projects. He’s kind and doesn’t get frustrated with me. It’s a breath of fresh air from my last relationship which was abusive and toxic. I am beyond lucky to have this man in my life.
