I'm LITERALLY in a zoom meeting right now reading this shite and I had to turn my video off b/c the 40 something others on the call are wondering WTF i'm laughing at.. Surely the topic of AI and Machine Learning transforming our business model can't be THAT hilarious!! Fockers.. the whole lot of you.. My peeps!! And i guess i'm having grilled cheese for lunch now after this call!

 

Zoom calls are the best to play "Last man standing". You know there is a pool when some of the Brady Bunch/Hollywood Squares go dark within seconds of each other.

 

A slice of American cheese, a slice of provolone (a couple of pieces of shaved Black Forest ham too, if you aren't a "purist"), topped with another slice of American makes an amazing grilled cheese. You may thank me later.

I took a screen shot of my coworker's screen/background during a big call and photoshopped myself into the background as if I were a kidnapping victim with a sign "Send Help!". I flashed it as my background briefly before we were about to take a break. A bunch of my coworkers lost their shit, half the squares went black instantly.

I put a "disclaimer" on there! Plus, "Grilled" & "Cheese" are in the title so technically it's still a grilled cheese. It just has an upgrade. Like the grilled cheese is a "SR5" and the grilled cheese with ham is a "Limited".

 

That's the Platinum edition "Grilled Cheese." If you add aged cheddar, it's a "1794".

 

Start a thread on a truck enthusiast website blaming the person/people/company that had the least amount of control over the situation.

Sucks because I’ve had nothing but great customer service interaction with RCI, CaliRaisedLED and Rooftop overland. With CaliRaised they only shipped the side panels to my in bed molle system and when I called and left a voicemail over the weekend by Monday before they even responded back I had a new shipping notification for the front molle panel with a bunch of extra hardware. And with RCI I had no issues with my rack. My experience was on the opposite end of OPs spectrum. But if OP isn’t satisfied I’m down to zelle him to buy that skid off of him

The condition of the shipping box has more to do with the carrier than the manufacturer. That doesn't matter, you aren't installing the box.

If hardware is missing I'm sure you can call them up, don't be a dick, and they'll send you a hardware package right away. That happens a lot. I bought a table at Harbor Freight and found the hardware was half missing, called then and got resolve immediately, went on with my life.

As far as the scratches, live with it. It doesn't matter at all. Its going to get scratched, you're going to be hitting it with paint to keep it from rusting, its an item that takes abuse and bares the scars.

Now, accusing those who saw this as not a big deal "rci defense team" or "cute dogs" tells us all that RCI isn't the problem. You've got your own royal expectations and you get irrational when they aren't met. Get therapy, get a puppy, get rid of your truck and buy a sports car. Whatever it takes, but get help.
