Tailgate letters - reflective orange ?

Anyone know of a vendor offering the TUNDRA lettering in reflective orange? All I can find are: Red, White, Blue, and Black reflective ones.

Where did you find the reflective Black ones? Once I read your post, I have been on the hunt with no luck.

 

Try Etsy. Tons of vendors on there with just the stickers. Unless you want the raised letters then you'll have to go somewhere else most likely.

 

Buy some dot tape and cut your own maybe.

 

Yeah, order off Etsy and the chinese send you some scotch tape colored in with an orange crayon lol

Message @rrentrop at TVD. He uses the Rvinyl products and might be able to make this with that orange. He does custom work to, so just message and see what he says. I email him and get responses pretty quick, he is on this forum but sometimes it takes longer to get a response on here.

You could try contacting a sign shop. I know we print on reflective on a fairly regular basis
The trick would be to have them print it on a cast reflective vinyl with air release.

If you have them install the vinyl, ask them to use primer 94 in the deep recesses, and on the back of the letters. Its an adhesion promoter to keep the vinyl down.

No dice, TVD isn't cutting reflective vinyl anymore

 

Do they have to be reflective? If not, maybe just buy a set of the raised letters in black and paint them orange?

Contact some sellers on ebay that do reflective and see if they can get orange.

 

Or are you saying that this would be an excuse to get my own Cricut machine? I did find an eps file for the logo lol
It looks like that the Avery4000 film is closer to the Inferno Red, but it's out of stock

 

Buy a cricut or see if you know anyone who has one. If you already have a file for the design it should be cake.

 

If you already have the eps file, any sign shop can cut it for you. Look on fellers.com for vinyl.

 

Good thinking, wasn't sure if that file needed scaling or something to make it fit. It's just one I found on my google search

 

Have the shop measure the height of the T on your tailgate and they can scale it to size. I deal with this sort of stuff everyday. Yes, I work at a sign shop.
