Sometime ago, I purchased a very nice 6 layer water proof, UV proof, bird shit proof truck cover.
It works as stated nicely but, the rear view mirrors force the cover to stick out tremendously on the sides which I hate.
I looked for fitted covers with the same capabilities and found that they were few and started at $300.00 +.
I then walked out to the truck and looked at it for a bit, then went up to it and folded the mirrors in. Voila!, cover fit perfectly down the sides.
Now I need to watch out for wearing white socks with shorts and tennis shoes, T shirts tucked in, this is scary shit...
OMG, I just opened a piece of mail from the VFW and saw socks in there in red white and blue. I looked at them for a second then gave them to my wife who said she would wear them.
That was a test, I know it.

Getting old can suck but it is better than the alternative!

Not me, found these on the web and sorry if anyone knows them! Happy Friday everyone.

If your wife doesn't want the socks, I'll take them! You have to wash them first though, I ain't one of them sock sniffing weirdos.

    It’s a state of mind.

    I am sadly 47 and feel/act 77.

I know people in their 70s who act 20.

Still can’t decide which of us are worse - I wouldn’t relive 20 again - but 30s weren’t so bad.

24 was a decent year for me, I think. That's when I decided to stop aging. I can't seem to remember why 24 though. Dammit.

I forget all kinds of things all the time, but I can still remember my first kiss with my first girlfriend. A redhead, and crazy as the day is long. Something's just stick in your mind and you never forget them, and I'm grateful for that.

I've heard a few older gentlemen remark how liberating it is when you reach the age where you just don't give a shit what other people think about you anymore. I'm there is some respects, but not to the level of calf high black socks with sandals. At least not yet!

    Like all these comments.
I guess I'm old now, not a senior but time flies.
I wish I knew what I know now then, when I was younger ( a song lyric I believe, rod stewart? I am old). I would have done so many things differently.

    Saggy balls and sore knees.
