So I’ve been educating myself on new wheels and tires and found an article on wheel bearing failures due to offset on aftermarket wheels. I’m not huge on the stock wheels and the wheels I’ve wanted have been +30 and +20. +60 is stock. Just curious how many miles you all have gotten out of your wheel bearings after adding wheels with similar offset? TIA

Seems like this issue makes sense on paper but is never really proven in the real world. Make the truck like you want it and enjoy it.

Do you tow or off-road with your truck ?
Also what size tire do you run ?
I to was paranoid about wheel bearings so I opted for a 20x9 +50 offset

It's only going to shorten the life of wheel bearings and ball joints when this is your idea of an offset wheel:

The only time its an issue is when you see the trucks that have offsets that stick the tires out 4-6 inches+…in those scenarios the bearings are not supported and they will fail. +20 wont hurt a thing.
