Just dropped my 18 Double Cab off a Chaos Fab Shop in Winchester Virginia to get all the mods I have always wanted done!

Here is her before- only mods are the Sun Roof, The Side Steps, and the TRD Dual exhaust.

Getting her Supercharged and putting the ICON Stage 10 Suspension on her. Adding Nitto Grapplers 295-70-18 and fender flares. Got a refurbished OEM wheel for the spare. Also doing a Rip & Replace of the audio system thanks to James at Tech 12volts. Wish me luck and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

I love this Forum (my wife however-not so much... )

You said the sun roof was a mod, as in did you have an aftermarket sun roof installed?

Wow! Can’t wait to see this.

sunroof has to be aftermarket because DC never came with one. I had one installed in my 14 DC and it looked just like factory. $1300

Yes it was aftermarket from the dealer. I think it cost me about $1,100 but since it was part of the "deal" for the truck when I bought it you never know what the true cost was. It is nice- just like Kidrman says it is just like factory. Closes when I shut the truck off.. wish the sliding back window would do the same! I always leave that damn thing open.. getting senile.. I love these trucks. Will post pictures when I get her back!

Sorry it has been a while since I posted but I wanted to drive her a while before I posted and made my comments. I will only be commenting on the mechanical upgrades here- will address the awesome Stereo upgrade that James from 12 TechVolt helped me in another post (the guys is great).

    Here she is:

    Redone!.jpg

#1 For you guys that are handy and can do this work yourself (I would have someone else do the Supercharger...) I think these modifications make the truck soooo much nicer. I also believe that especially for you guys that can do this work yourself modifying a non TRD Pro is the way to go. For the money the finished product is superior to what you would have with the Pro and the price is about the same. With the Stereo upgrade giving me Apple Car Play my Tundra looks and feels like it is a modern truck.

#2 The ICON Suspension is fantastic. Being able to adjust the stiffness is really nice. Takes some of the bounce out of the Off-road package Double Cab Suspension. The Ridge Grapplers are nice as well 295\70R\18 on the Stock Off-Road wheels- work really well. (I will at some point go to a wider tire and will need new rims- but that is gonna be when the wife is out of town...)

#3 The Supercharger is what made me wait so long to post on- after 3 months of driving the Tundra thru the mountains of WV and all over hell and back I can say that this is what the engine in the Tundra should be. I went with the standard Magnuson tune (no Bullydog) and it is a new truck. It doesn't turn the Tundra into a Corvette but now the truck always has power on demand and the engine is never taxed (I cruise at 80 MPH on the Highway and the truck doesn't break 1800 RPM). No hard downshifts, no gear searching- just linear power whenever you need it.
