I'm going through this right now with the Bridgestone DUELER H/L ALENZA on the factory 20s. Vibration comes in and out at different speeds. Going back to dealer for third time tomorrow. Wish they Michelin LTXs or Defenders already. Dealer changed the front set out 6K miles. These don't even have 3K miles on them.

Our new 2019 Tundra came with Dueler tires. They are shit tires, bald at 26,000 miles. I had a round with the dealership we purchased the truck from and still had to pay for new tires even after I called Bridgestone and Toyota from the dealership. I do like the Yokahama’s We purchased.

I had the same issue. It went away after putting miles on it. I believe it was flat spots on the tires.

    **Update**
At the 5K mile service, I described the vibration issue and the remedy was two of the tires were a poor mold, and Toyota replaced them and performed an alignment.

I'm now at the 10K mile service and still have the vibration. I brought it into same dealership yesterday and advised of the same issue with specifics as to speed, gear, and whether under acceleration or not (Did same at 5K miles).

Picked up the vehicle yesterday and was advised the tires were road force balanced and all is good now. Drove the vehicle and while 60% of the vibration was removed at low speeds, at the higher speeds, it still existed. Called yesterday and setup appointment for this AM. Service advisor said Service manager wants a technician to go for a drive with me and observe before leaving it this AM. Nice young man, and he did the work yesterday. Not at all upset or visually bothered its back, wants to make the truck right for me. I ask if its OK to go about ten miles away so we can hit the Interstate and parkway. He agrees. After five minutes on the highways, I ask him to feel the wheel while I'm driving and at the same higher speeds as previously described, he concurs the vibration is there and apparent. At the half way point, I pull over and ask him to drive and replicate with him driving back toward dealership. He does, and confirms its there and not normal. I thank him for his time, and head back home leaving the Tundra at the dealership.

I get a call at 3P this afternoon, and they believe they have it fixed. To make sure they would like me to go for a test ride again just like this AM with the same tech who has been working on it. We get in the Tundra and I drive out. He explains he wants me to drive the same route and same speeds and check it out. I do and all is gone. Tundra is driving just like it did the first few thousand miles. I confirm and again thank him for his work and effort in making this right. He explains to me that when the 5K mile service was completed and the two new tires were put on, the tech who did it, also rotated the tires in a X pattern. So one original tire on right front, one new tire on left front, original tire on left rear, new tire on right rear. When he went back to feel the tires this AM, he noticed the right front had chopped edges, and so did the left rear. More pronounced on the right front. He checked the DOT stamp and it was the same mold as the original 2 that came on the vehicle. Call to Toyota tech line, confirmed same, and they approved two new tires again. That was the fix. He apologized for the previous tech rotating the tires, and moving the truck down road.

I thanked him for taking the time and caring enough about my complaint to see through to a resolution and fix. Most large dealerships these days would balk at the effort this shop put into it today.

I'll be following up Toyota with a nice letter for the Tech and the Service Advisor.

I have 2018 crewmax limited with 18 inch rims and michelin tire. I have no problems. rebalance and maybe new tires. I.m not crazy about 20 inch rims there is not support in the sidewall.
    good luck

I have a brand new 2020 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro. Swapped factory wheels off with only 50 miles or so... Went with aftermarket 20'' wheels.. Man this truck vibrates like crazy between 60-68 mph.. Done had 4 sets of tires and now we switched wheels today to no prevail... Going back to factory 20'' to make sure.. Next is the dealership...

I have a 2020 Tundra Crewmax, and have the same problem. I've had it to the dealership three times and every time they tell me they can't find. It makes no sense to me. I get it at lower speeds (40-50 kmh), 70kmh and again at 103-109kmh. PAssengers all feel it. It's definitely worse after the vehicle is cold, than it is after driving for a longer period. And it's definitely worse on acceleration, especially if going around right turn. They've balanced, high-speed balanced, and tell me can't find it. I'm fed up to the point that I might trader it in, but that kills me. I love this truck, except for this. I have 20" factor rims on the Platinum, and Bridgestone Duellers also. It feels like to me like it's something in the drivetrain, beyond the wheels or tires. I'd swear it's a driveshaft imbalance or something like that. But it's some bloody frustrating.

I wrote it off as crappy Bridgestone tires and found a set of TRD Pro takeoffs with Michelins. Have been very happy ever since. I sold the 20s with the Bridgestones as well. My 2006 LS430 had Bridgstone Turanzas and they were horrible as well. Changed those out to Michelins, and magically no more vibration issues.

I bought a 2014 Tundra a few months ago and had my first intermittent vibration issue. I believe it's coming from a design defect in the driveshaft, all the u-joints are aligned in phase. Any small vibration like a shift shudder, emergency brake drag or feathering the throttle is amplified by the in-phase u-joints. Stopping the vehicle and starting again should stop the vibration if the u-joints are not shot. Studebaker had 2 piece drive shafts prone to vibration and in 1952 they issued service letter 885 saying that rotating the center joint 90 degrees out of phase with the front joint will cure the problem. Studebaker had a splined yoke in the center position that could be rotated. The Tundra does not so a new center bearing/yoke assembly would need to be fabricated with the yokes at 90 degrees rather than inline.

Took my truck to my local Les Shwab to get rotation and balance because they are the only shop near me who does it correctly. Spoke to the manager there who said the Tundra gives them the most trouble with shakes and vibrations out of all pick up trucks. It can be fixed you just gotta stay on it and find a good shop.
