I had hoped this would eventually stop but it is still happening 4 months post-purchase after a rain or wash. I've cleaned the door handles as best I can with a toothbrush but I believe the drips stem from the thin black/rubber plastic gaskets (which are inaccessible for cleaning).

Anyone else experiencing this and any tips to remedy?

    Thanks!

I have a black truck and will also get some drip marks from the door handles. Best way to combat it is to keep the truck waxed/protected. The dirt and crud does not stick as well. It will still happen over time, but my truck will look good after rain storms and in some cases, if a hard rain, will almost look washed.

Use your favorite wax/sealant and then top coat with something like beadmaker or a similar product- keeps the truck protected and looking good for months.

I actually spent $1200 on a 5yr ceramic application when I got the truck. I think i'm going to have to take the handles off and scrub the gaskets. I just watched a couple of youtube vids on it and it looks like it is just one bolt holding them on....pretty simple apparently. Maybe a good excuse to swap for body color handles.

Oh, so you have the black textured handles? Well those do the drip streaks more than the other handles in my experience. I replaced my black handles with chrome ones and those dont drip as bad. Im sure color matched would fare better too. The black textured handles always looked like crap- dirty, dripped...had to get rid of them on my truck.

I have not had that problem with my 21 LunaRock Pro. After I wash it I use my air blaster to dry off truck in garage. I have been doing this same routine for years. Even when I had my white 4runner Pro and white Tacoma. Hope this helps.

I had my Cement color ceramic coated and I get those marks fairly consistently. About 4 to 5 days after a wash, after a rain storm, and after humid mornings/hot days. They are annoying but wipe right off. I honestly do even think about it any more.

I get it from the door handles and the side view mirrors. The hand wash I go to uses a blower and so do I at home.

I get them if I go a few weeks without a wash on my '17 Limited (chrome handles). I chalked it up to annual dose of fluid film being sprayed into the body panels...guess it's not the FF if everyone gets them.

regardless, the streaks are my queue that she needs her stinky ass cleaned. :D

Here is your remedy brother, works like a charm. Never see those annoying drip marks again. You can thank me later.

After a wash I’ll use the air compressor blow gun around the door handles and badges. It works well and I don’t get drip marks. Rain is another story...

That's what I did, stays clean as a whistle. Even removed the cheesy TRD OFF Road bed decal.

I don't see what all the fuss is about. My white PRO stays dirty, and even when it's clean those drip marks aren't enough to get my attention for long. One wipe with a damp cloth and they are gone. That coming from a guy with severe OCD.
