Can front bumper caps be easily modified for sensors?

I tried searching but couldn't find anything on this. I am trying to acquire cement grey color matched front bumper caps w/ sensor holes.

I got a ping from a member with standard cement grey front bumper caps for sale but they don’t have the sensor holes. Is modifying them doable and/or even worth it…or should I just look for caps with the holes already there?

    Let me know! Thanks!

OME Nitrocharger/2612 (front), Bilstein 5100s (rear). Vanguard roll bar modified (by me) to fit over Patriot Stealth retractable tonneau. Aftermarket halo headlights with HID, various LED bulb replacements. 17" Fuel Blitz wheels with some 33" Nitto terra grapplers. Hoodscoop, nfab nerfbars, Bushwacker flares. No-name aftermarket grille, led fender extensions. Black Horse bambi-basher. Various offroad lights.
My guess is it's just a hole of a particular size. Try removing one of your existing sensors and see what is involved, my guess is its nothing that a hole saw and a dremel couldn't handle.

The hole could be cut, but it isn't perfectly round. When looking for aftermarket bumpers I thought about getting one without sensor holes and cutting them out. Then I talked to a mfg and they said R&D goes in to making sure it’s in the right spot at the right angle or your sensors might not work right. Not sure how true that is.

I did the Ecological bumper caps which turned out nicely. As far as the holes they are more oval shaped and my sensor kept bugging out until I rounded out the hole in the bumper caps which allowed them to sit snug in the original hole. What I would deduce from that is it does matter how much tension is on the sensor from the size of the hole in order to function correctly.
