Congrats on unloading your Lemon. I have to admit I can't identify from just the side shot, Ford?

Good eyes. I wasn’t expecting much but it’s actually a fairly peppy truck. I had a 2018 Tacoma before my Tundra and the 4.0 in the Frontier is a much better truck motor. The worst part about the frontier is that there is no Bluetooth, CarPlay or android auto. Maybe I’ll swap a headunit in it while I wait for the Tundra.

Glad you're happy with it, that's all that really matters in the end.

Thks, I’m not giving up on the Tundra or Toyota. My family are all Toyota fans and when you work at Toyota University (it’s a real thing) they make you drink the Toyota Kool-aid. I’ve drank more than a couple of glasses.

The 22's look very promising on the YouTube videos. In the end for me anyways will be how the 10 speed transmission shifts with the V6 engine. Hopefully no lag etc. I am being offered more than I paid for my 2021 including taxes then I paid last year and think about selling. I would just hate that the 2022 isnt sorted for a couple years and who knows what the prices will be vs 2021's.

So you did get the Nissan off the lot. Good for you. With the shitshow you were having in regards to the tundra…don’t blame you one bit.

How does the new truck run/drive? Likes/dislikes?

That was one of the reasons I sold it back to the dealer, paid 43K and sold it back for 45K after almost 2 years of ownership (Canadian dollars). I still did loose some because of accessories and taxes.

the Tundra went back to a Toyota dealer but they didn’t have anything reasonable cost wise. They had a few newer Tacoma’s that were going for around 35k but I didn’t want to drop that much into a truck that I would only have for a year. The Frontier came from a Nissan dealer. Low kms, one owner, good carfax with no accidents and got it for 25k (CDN). I actually impressed on how it drives. It has a very responsive engine, quiet at highway speed and actually has a better ride quality than my Tundra over bad roads. Now the bad, very dated interior, piss poor back up camera, old man tan interior colour, no blue tooth or android auto.

We are one our holiday and the little Nissan is doing very well. I’ve pulled my TT with three different trucks, a 2018 Tacoma Sport manual, 2020 Tundra SR5 and now the 2013 Nissan Frontier SV auto. Buy far the Tundra pulled the TT the best best the Frontier pulled it better than the Tacoma. The 4.0 in the Frontier has more torque and running up grades is much easier. Noise in the cabin is as quiet as the Tundra. So far I’m impressed with the Frontier. It’s making for an excellent bridge vehicle until the 2022 Tundra is available.

Glad that the Frontier is working out for you. Your pictures make me want to squeeze out one more camping trip this year.
