So I went to throw out the trash and I checked to see if the doors where locked on my truck. I pulled on the passenger door handle and the door was locked but the dome lights came on. Waited like 5-10 seconds and they shut off. Went to the divers side door handle and pulled on it and the dome light didn't come on. I really havent noticed this before/havent paid attention. I did install a GBS and change the door handles to color matched. Don't know if this has something to do with it or could have cause it? Can someone see if this happens to their truck. 2020 SR5.

I don't think mine does this but I keep my dome light switched off most of the time.

So today I was showing my co worker what the truck was doing. Now, if I pull on the passenger door handle, the alarm goes off. WTF. Last night, I was doing some testing and if I pulled in the passenger door handle and pressed the lock button on the key fob I got 2 chirps. If I unlocked and locked I got 1 chirp. Can the GBS ECU be messed up and causing these issues?

I think I am going to take the GBS off today and see if everything goes back to normal or pull the battery first and see.

Figured it out. Apparently when I took my door panel on the passenger side off, the cable from the inside door handle to the latch mechanism came loose. Apparently when you pulled on the outside door handle, even with the door lock, the truck thinks it was opening. So the alarm would sound and the dome lights would come on.
