2 new questions about my 07

1st, the stock stereo is acting up, I bought an exact unit off eBay to replace it. Does it need to be taken to a dealer for programming after install?
#2- The parking sensors are way too sensitive. If I am sitting at a red light and a car rolls up behind me it starts beeping. When I pull into my carport the thing goes NUTS because there's a wall on one side and fence on the other BEEPS like CRAZY! My camera hasn't worked since I bought the truck and I really don't care so Can I disconnect the sensors, or the beeper? THANKS

 

1.) the stereo shouldn't need a reprograming. Is it the OEM non screen one?
2.) the sensors shouldn't trigger in the rear while driving there something wrong there. But to the right of the gauge cluster before the head unit will be a bunch of buttons look for sonar and click it it will turn it off.
3.) if your talking about a rear reverse came and have a stock head unit , most likely the previous owner had a aftermarket head unit in with the camera hooked up , other wise I believe for the 2nd the reverse cam came up in the mirror, till later models with screen or 3rd gen were it would display on the head unit.

 

The bottom button is the beeper/sensors called sonar
