Beg to differ with you there War Machine, spent 11 years in the Air Force and seeing the B1 sitting on the tarmac running full after burners, lifting off and rolling over like a fighter is an awesome site to behold. The more research I do the less certain I am about thread cut/pitch for the 3rd gen. Most say 8m, a lot say 12m , a few say 10m. ?????

 

thread your shifter off and take a caliper to the shaft on it. Should be a pretty quick answer...

Looks like that shaft might be 10mm, but the threads are definitely M8.

 

I'd probably make the hole oversized and make your own insert. Allow you swap your creation to a different truck if you ever decide to change it up.
