am trying to replace the passenger side left of the gloveboxes ac vent in a 2008 tundra 4.7l. if anyone has any hints appreciated am spending a lot of time trying to find any vid or hints on the internet this morning... got both gloveboxes out, the retaining screws out on both sides of the vent which is loose now as well as the dashboard loosened hoping to squeeze it out but it seems tight maybe the whole dash needs to be removed as well as the center console?

I did not have to remove the dashboard entirely. Once at this point i removed all the screws i could get to on the passenger side holding the dashboard which was really not bad and it gave me enough flexibility in the vent area to remove the retaining screws and work it out. One just has to be patient and not break the plastic when I bent and pulled in the area to remove the vent... Am sure there is a correct way to do it but i got it done...
