Morning, New to the forum and not trying to jack a thread but I’m in the same boat. Test drove a 19 trd pro and loved the ride so looking at the bds kit. But also thinking 4 corner reservoir shocks may be better. Running rock warrior 17” wheels on 285/70/17 am I going to have to go bigger on tires so it doesn’t look stupid? Family is a bit short and the struggle a bit climbing in even with the side steps

Have you thought about running those power steps? They come down an inch or so lower than regular steps

I haven’t, with road salt they use here in Pennsylvania they would never stand the test of time.

Don’t ruin Pro suspension with a bracket lift, and besides, that size of tire would look tiny. I’d be looking at 295/70R18’s to run on Pro suspension if it were me. You can always grab some step bars to help a lil.

I like the rims way too much to change them , with the cost and the powder coating I had done to match the truck it wouldn’t make sense to change them. I’ll probably have to do 305s then. When you say bracket lift , sorry always ran stock trucks... what bracket with coil overs? Thought they bolted right up and you change control arms?

I’ve been driving my 6” lift for 2 years now and I’m really getting tired of the stress. I looove the trick and the way it looks is amazing but the stress of driving it with such a big lift really makes me wish I just went with 3”

Go big or go home! Lol.

I purchased mine with a 12” bulletproof lift. Drive it almost daily. I’ve actually driven it more than my car since I purchased it. 7E934024-9E2A-40C6-92AA-9D05B5C90ED5.jpg

Save your money until you have enough for a supercharger. Forget the show and pay for the go.

This is awesome truck, but 12 inch would be overkill for most of us

I'd go no lift for a daily driver with minimal offroad. Definitely. Form follows function.

Drop the rear a couple inches, and install some nice aftermarket wheels and tires. It would look and drive great. I have 35x13" tires on mine currently with +25 18x9 wheels, no lift and no rub ever (BMC and plastic work). 295/70r18s or similar with stock wheels would take less work (maybe none?) and you can get tires that are better for the road in that size.

It’s overkill for me, but it’s what I wanted! Lol

I bought my Tundra used @46k mi w/ 6" ProComp.
@65k replaced shocks Bilstien w/5100 and ProComp rears
@85k new ProComp tie rod ends and 37" Fallen Wildpeaks
@126k new Vertex Coilovers, rear piggybacks, Icon RXT leafs, SPC UCA's,
super bumps, considering new OEM LCA's and P.C. tie rod ends.

It hasn't gotten any cheaper over the 5yrs of ownership.

I average 11.3-12.2 mpg driven in S mode w/ the nannies off. Highway driving @75mph. 46g tank.

If I had to do it again, a 3/1 w/35's would be my choice.

The side benefit of my so called "side bitch", (how wife describes the Tundra)
is my little grandsons only want to ride with me in the truck when they visit.

    Priceless.....
