I'll be out there plenty once it cools down. I'm sure the rest of the shenanigans crew is anxious to get back out there as well.
I drove through last night around 7:30 and it was still 100 degrees. Felt like an oven:bananadead:

I would've given them a sponge and bucket if it bothered them a whole lot!

Not to mention learning how to really asses situations, overcome problems and drive over, through, down..... stuff that would have most people soiling themselves. Then, sitting around the fire that night for the days recap... Fucking priceless!

I wasn't joking when I posted the link above for paint. I don't set out to trash my truck but stuff does happen. I fixed 2 dents in my door rockers from wheeling and 2 from fucking parking lot damage.

The parking lot damage pisses me off more than the pin stripes from off roading. Although it is funny when small cars slam their doors into my sliders.

Those parking lots will get you. Been there, done that!

A good friend of mine has a story where some angry Karen continually bashed her car door into his sliders thinking that she was causing damage to his truck

Not to mention, nothing better than seeing the look on Jeep owners’ faces when they get out wheeled by a full size…

How did you reshape your exhaust? Any special tricks to share? I need to do the same.

Thanks! I stuck a two foot round steel pipe inside of it and just applied pressure right on the dinged in part and it pushed right back out, it was fairly malleable. Cutting the tip back a few inches is another option.

I've often said that if your truck doesn't have a few dings or scratches, you've never taken it anywhere fun or done truck stuff in it.

I've never met anyone that wasn't a little hurt by that first ding, but they're going to happen. I'd rather it happen while I'm having fun, than in a parking lot or while driving down the highway. If someone is setting out to trash their truck, then they should have a trail rig as you mentioned, but there's no reason someone who's invested in a nice truck shouldn't be able to do truck stuff in it.

Totally agree. But to think of them as a badge of accomplishment. I just can't justify that. I have had many vehicles that I destroyed for no reason other than bragging rights, ie; Street Outlaws.

Nailed it! When I'm 10 years older, if I make it that long, would I be happier that my truck is worth 5k more from sitting in my driveway all its life, or would I rather have enjoyed the scenic places and memories made with friends and family. Going to take damn good care of my truck, but it will of course gather scars as I plan to start making memories with it. You only live once and I'm starting to realize that.

    Oh God no.

Just a local Colorado Springs Truck club. The Islanders or something like that. Personally, I think they were practicing their bobsledding techniques.

I’ve been up where they were and it can get pretty slick. Not sure why they all went down the steep icy hill at the same time.
