Almost looks like an entire cam was sheared off along with part of the connecting rod.

 

Dang. I couldn’t tell if that was internals from the engine or the tranny. Crazy the Cummins exploded.

Wonder if the motor was tuned…

 

CRAP!

 

We’re getting quite a bit of smoke here today. Started yesterday.

 

From where?

 

It’s hard to know for sure, there’s so many fires scattered around here. Winds are mostly from w x sw, so probably from the tillamook forest

 

The South Sound was nice and clear when we left today, sucking smoke as soon as we got in the 509.

 

Yeah, red sunrise and redder sunset here today.

 

The Chelan and Yakima fires are still blazing pretty good.

 

Crazy. We had very little smoke this summer. The media was all flustered about it initially but has been silent the past few weeks. I figured most had been dealt with already.

 

It's been going on all summer. Few days reprieve when the wind blows it out of the valley.

 

Supposed to go to Stehekin in a few weeks. Hoping things calm down up there.

 

9th wedding anniversary today, we're getting pedicures and drinking a beer from a frosted mug.

We are headed to Las Vegas in a few weeks to celebrate our 21st anniversary…delayed one year due to Covid.

I gotta come up with a good trip for our 10 next year.

We did a week in Mexico at an all inclusive resort for our 10th and it was awesome. We had never done the all inclusive route before so we were skeptical but the place and service were great. Highly recommend it! Booked via Costco.

We did that in Mexico once too, got engaged there.

 

Congrat's on all the wedding anniversaries! We are coming up on our 29th later this year, and my parents just had their 55th. Take good care of your "better halves" and it only get's better and better.

 

That'd be cool too! I said Alaska just because their seasons are usually around now, so could be on a hunt during the actual anniversary.
