So….this raises another question for me. I’ve had WeatherTechs in just about every vehicle I’ve owned. I’ve seen a lot of people here referencing the Husky’s. They that good??

Slide around a little bit, sometimes the part closest to the door gets caught and sticks inside then in the heat of the day it curls and is a pain to get back down under the door panel.

I’m not gonna replace them since I’m gonna cut them if I do the esp storage mod under the rear seat. Doesn’t make sense to buy a new set of huskies to cut them up. I’m also gonna cut out from the rear the part that goes under the front seat since it is overlapping my new amp and also the kenwood ham radio I put under the driver seat.

    Too many, but not enough....
Husky x contours have some amazing coverage and fit. And great material. Difficult to do better than that.

I don’t know if this is even possible anymore, but I have a limited with the SR5 package (2016) Which means I have all the bells and whistles of a limited, but with the large gas tank. Best of both worlds!!

The leather in my limited honestly feels like vinyl. It’s pretty cheap feeling but VERY easy to clean.

If a limited exists with the SR5 package, that would be my vote.

    Have any pics to share?
From my understanding, when buying the Limited, you more or less automatically get everything that comes with the SR5 package standard, to include the 38gal gas tank.

So…another question. I anticipate that my truck will come with a bunch of chrome nonsense on the front end. Is ANY of it actually chrome plated metal? I’m curious because I’m wondering whether or not it’d actually be easier to try and paint over all of it (if it’s plastic) rather than buy a bunch of new pieces.

The Limited will come with the fake plastic chrome nonsense. You will not want to paint over it since it rarely turns out well. You will be replacing with new color matched parts. The bumper ends are actually real chrome plated.

A few members have tried to prep and paint the fake chrome but quite iffy. Some will use PlastiDip but better to simply get the colormatched goodies. My Limited had way too much fake chrome. I don't mind some real chrome like the bumpers.
