Anyone have a problem with the trailer disconnected alarm keep coming on and shut off when pulling a trailer with brakes? 2 different trailers same thing. Will connect for a bit then disconnect and so on. At one point was doing it every 30 sec. just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience. Thanks

    Function before sparkle.
There is a TSB on this. Talk to your dealer.

Plenty written about it- search (upper right) and you will find the threads.

I just had the dealer flash the controller in my truck this morning. I couldn’t drive 6 ft without getting the disconnect warning. I had taken the truck in last month and they said it was fine and that it was the trailer. Then went to the trailer dealer and they verified the trailer was fine. So I did some digging and found the Technical Service Bulletin on this sight and took it back to the dealer who agreed to do the flash fix, less than an hour wait. I ran over and checked the trailer today and it fixed the disconnect problem. Here’s the TSB.

A lot of leg work, but this sight saved me one more argument. I’ll check here first next time.
