VW Beetle

Anyone have or know someone who has a VW Beetle? I’m looking at one for my daughter and don’t know much about them. It’s a 2012 and has had all maintenance done. New water pump, brakes and tires. I can get it for $7500

I wanted a Corolla or similar but the prices are crazy, especially for used ones.

 

I am sure there are forums for them just like this forum. You may be able to get some info on usual issues, reliability.

If it is the turbo, be aware that they can need replacement and are costly.

 

I looked at two of their forums, but they aren’t nearly as active as this one. Seemed that most of it was on mods and tuning.
