I’m going to post this in mods but wanted to share. 2021 crew, removed trim around shifter to install some AJT parts. While open I had an idea. Took 2 gun magnets, placed 1 on the exterior of the trim with the 3m tape. Placed the other inside the trim and it locked in solid! No drilling, holes. Holds my G43X super strong.
