I am looking for rear shock suggestions for my Tundra. 1 shock is leaking and the other is a cheap replacement that is a sad excuse for a shock. I plan on towing 5000 lbs travel trailer next month and will be ordering a set of timbren's this week to install.

I really want the truck to have a "nice" ride close to the OEM and am looking for around $50 a shock if possible, but any suggestions would be nice. I am also putting Sulastic shackles on in December as a Christmas present to myself.

    Thank y'all in advance.

I was referencing that the aftermarket Bilsteins have a much stiffer ride. I should have clarified. The Eibachs were hands down better than stock on my 4Runner and the Bilstein 5100 equipped 4Runner I was in.

Agreed, the aftermarket Billys were a bit stiff when I had them, but that was on a Tacoma and a 4Runner. Ill eventually put the Eibach on our 4Runner, I was a fan of them when I had them on the Tundra.

LOL thank y'all for the suggestions I am going to buy a pair of the Eibachs shocks. Its only an extra $100 and will keep me from the dreaded rock auto shocks I was looking at. Up until now I have really only driven VW's. I know were and what parts to get because they are always needing some kind of maintenance part. Toyota not so much.

    Once again thank you

I have already put 3k on the eibach’s and they are really an excellent put together product and have a good solid feel and improved ride quality. I like that they are USA made.

    Thank you for the suggestion
