Hello everyone. I’m hoping someone can help me out. My truck has been squeaking while driving, especially when I slow down driving through my neighborhood. Driving slow on slightly bumpy roads seem to make it worse and more frequent. I don’t hear it when going over larger bumps. Also happens whether applying brakes or not. I’ve checked and lubed so many areas already, even took it to the dealership yesterday; but of course they couldn’t “replicate” it. So I’m all out of ideas and the Service Techs at the Toyota dealership are useless. I don’t know what to do anymore. It literally sounds like the squeaks that are produced with sneakers on a basketball court. I can hear it on both sides of my truck when the windows are down. I also sometimes hear it when slowly pulling into my garage, when I apply the brakes, and when I shift the transmission into park. It’s like a multi application squeak. It’s driving me crazy. Any ideas what it might be? Thank you!

I have TRD Dual Exhaust and can still hear it in between song tracks. It’s pretty loud, embarrassing actually. Sounds like grandpas clunker when driving through the neighborhood.

Id try a different dealer, depending on your mileage, this would be a warranty fix. And get some video of the issue so you can show the dealer

So it ended up being the transmission mount. The dealership service foreman got involved; I took him for a spin so I could replicate the sound for him. He heard it loud and clear. Swapped transmission mounts with a used Tundra they had on the lot, sound disappeared. Not sure exactly what was wrong with mine, maybe it was defective. So they ordered me a new one, they’ll be installing it tomorrow. Hope this fixes it for good.

Just to update: Been a couple of weeks since they replaced the transmission mount, and the annoying squeak is 100% gone. You have no idea how happy this makes me :)
