Were they dyno’d to prove clean engines are restricted? And loud noises are better?

if you run warm air and a cool IAT sensor the coputer richens the mixture to compensate for freer flowing air. I havent cut the cats out of my turdra yet, but its coming. And im gonna hunt engine swaps instead of throwing more cylinder pressure or rpm at it.

No, he did not strap vehicles to a dyno and break down or rebuild engines..:eek2:

I'd think most of us are ordinary ham and eggers wanting an air filter to filter dirt out of the air..
Good air flow yet filtering out dirt particles.
    The video does show that..

    Maybe you should watch it.

Bottom line was this…. K&N did give a nice HP boost but let lots of particulate through. Like 5x as much as even a budget filter. WIX and Purolator were tops in filtration.
If you are headed to the track for a day, go ahead and swap in KN. If you want your vehicle to last longer, the two mentioned above are best. The rest were just average. Based on this I went for WIX since it was only about $15 more.

I've been using the WIX, so I'm glad to hear this.
