How do guys like the feel of the way your truck drives. I’m looking to do minor upgrade to my platinum and torn between off road shocks or sport shocks. I’m mostly on pavement but occasionally I’ll hit the dirt logging roads of Maine. Is it a very stiff suspension? I do have the sway bar now so I’m mainly concerned about how the shocks feel. Thank you

Never drove an off-road myself but I don’t think mine is crazy stiff, handles great and also our roads are complete shit here so I’d like to think she’s a nice ride either way

Other than the TRD Pro, I think the OR package shocks are the best that toyota offers. They control the truck much better than the crappy stock black shocks and ride a little softer than the Sport package shocks. Either the OR or sport shocks are better than the black ones, and you can often find a nearly new set for sale cheap, when folks lift their truck.

The Off Road package shocks drive nice on the pavement, no complaints here.

I agree. Rides like a truck but not too stiff.

Don’t know, the dealership had upgraded mine to the Pro when they ordered the truck. Loved them

I think the OR has a more soft suspension, better for off-roading with comfort and still softer on road

I think the sport has a bit tighter suspension, good for street handling but might feel a bit more bumps but handles well

Off road the Sport suspension rides rough. On the road it handles great. You will feel the road imperfections, but the Sport handling is awesome for such a big truck.
