Spilled some water

Had a water jug tip over and spill about a half gallon of water on the backseat floor of my CM. The rubber floor mats caught some but most went into the carpet near the door on the drivers side. Water was dripping from the rocker panel after I parked and made a good sized puddle so I know it has a way out. The windows are down and when I get home from work I’ll wet vac whatever I can Do I have anything to worry about? Anymore I can do? Thanks

 

Open the windows and let it air dry and you'll be fine.

We have one of those small Bissel spot removers. I've used it on the seats to clean them. If there's still sitting water or even water in the carpet, Something like that might soak it up.

Think of all of the people that have ever left a window or sunroof open in the rain. They'll all dry it if allowed to.

 

I wouldn't worry much. I've spilled 5 gallons of salt water in the backseat and just used shop vac and lots of towels, threw in a box fan and dried right up..overnight.

 

Open all the doors, turn off the interior lights and direct a box fan into the cabin to help dry it out completely.
If you notice condensation/fog when you close the doors and windows Its Still Wet INSIDE.
Repeat as necessary until dry.

My kid tossed his cookies on Sunday on the way home from the mountains. In my wife's 4Runner. Gross and in the leather perforations.

 

Brings back memories of when we were in a very large Mexican restaurant when my kid was 2. Think milk + grape juice + raisins. Was trying to get him to the bathroom; huge crowd between me and the bathrooms, and no one was moving.

I finally yelled "MY SON JUST BARFED GRAPE JUICE AND MILK!" and you would have sworn Moses appeared out of nowhere to help with crowd control. LOL

 

My dog ate some shit at doggy daycare and then got into my Tacoma with the heat running a few winters ago. Puked a combination of vomit and dog shit into the Katzkin leather perforations.

No Katzkin leather perforations on the Tundra.

 

A Pyrrhic victory.

 

The Tacoma rear seats survived, but only with some major odorizing treatment. Vomit shit smell for about a month.

In other news, I bought a huge bag of baking soda at Home Depot for my wife yesterday.
