Toyota Snow bashing in Montana

Here is a club in Montana that my bro is a part of.

Pretty good deep snow. Notice the different set ups that work up there compared to other areas.

 

That would be lockers men.

 

Going slow in the snow is no fun. It's called snow bashing for a reason.

 

Probably Pryor Mountains. They iron man their junk to the trails...which is crazy for all the stuff that gets broken.

 

Not when you are going over 8' of snow, someone would sink like the Titanic and have to come back in the summer. I see no fun in this kind of wheeling.

I agree with you though. I like going bashing in 3' or less...way more fun.

 

Na it does look like fun but as you said there is big risk in 8' of snow of getting badly stuck. Waste your day getting out.

 

This was in the beartooth mountain range.

 

So I can give you some specs on the 4Runner. Bill has built this from ground up. Chevy D60 front/rear, Vortec V-8, Atlas II/Klune V, ARB's fr/rr, 40's and has some bigger tires. Works well. He goes to Moab, S. Dakota challenge, and obviously snow runs.

Bill also does mud racing in a mid-80's chevy truck on 49" Iroks and a healthy 8.1L.
