    Hey fellas,

    My driver's side seat foam seems to have failed down the inner side. I can feel a hard ridge of plastic on the side of the seat where I'd guess used to be covered by the foam. My back now kind of rubs it when driving. You can see in the image a tear from the plastic actually rubbing right through the fabric.

    Im a pretty small dude - so its likely from reaching back when dealing with my kids in car seats.

    Any thoughts on the best course to repair it? Dealership? Seems like they would charge an insane amount for seat work.

    In my experience, yes.

    alternatively you can get a piece of seat foam from a junkyard if you’re feeling DIY.

    Might be a good idea to upgrade to some katkin leather covers if you are already planning on pulling the factory cover to repair the foam.
    @jhuey8947 can set you up.
