Full send here… dingle ball 240 grit to hone it a bit, toss a used rod+piston in with a new set of rings and throw my used head on it. Swap the valve springs on the other head just to be safe and enjoy a running motor that hopefully runs for a while

All we need is 998 more people to put up $400 and we can all go in on one. Since I came up with this brilliant idea I'm calling dibs on weekends! :D

Now that's what I'm talkin' about.

BTW, Do you remember off the top of your head how much the ATS HD leafs netted you? I searched briefly for a section where you mentioned the measurement you ended up with after install. I'd like to calculate what to expect. Thx.

Settled increase height was 1.5" more than what I started with. Center hub to fender is at 23".

Good to know. I'm going to take some measurements and a before and after shot. I figure it'll be pretty significant once the old shocks and leaves are out from under it.

Woop! I signed up too but didn't pick any trails yet just Go Fast Friday.

I need to figure out my full plans. I haven't used any vacation time recently so I might plan out a few other destinations on the way to or from.

I stopped reading at "Toyota's new full-size pickup needs to be significantly improved to compete...". Yes, that's why the competitors C&D mention all have to be very heavily subsidized by U.S. taxpayer dollars is because Toyota can't compete with them. You can't make this stuff up.

I had an Anne Murray phase - but got those from library. She really has a beautiful voice. Wonder where she is now.
LOL - just read a biography. She's got a lot of accomplishments in life. Including an 11 handicap on the golf course.

...but I'm keeping my hank & hank jr tapes!

sky diving didn't do it for me. Maybe I have a big nose, but I found it hard to breathe when you're falling that fast & the air is rushing up your nose - kinda like waterboarding with air. This flying motorcycle you wouldn't be falling - at least for 6 gallons....

built in the wrong truck, but a nicely built camper set-up. Needs the magic back window for cab access & the back seat for those pillows.

Not too bad today, just rolling periods of downpours, nothing I haven’t seen before. With all the rain I’ve seen this year, I should’ve planted a garden.

Now if I can convince my coworkers and management I’m not needed on-site tomorrow, it should be a good day. I don’t think I have an umbrella strong enough to withstand the downpours if I have to be there.

@BubbaW so I got some rock lights mounted under the doors on the frame on my wife’s sequoia. Intended use was like entrance lights that trigger when you hit the keyless entry and when you open the door. Similar to tapping the cargo light circuit on our trucks. Trouble is I’m not sure which wire to tap, I originally was gonna use a add a circuit in the dome light slot but that won’t work due to constant power there. So I be gotta come back in the cab with it

So it looks like Toyota likes to use a switched ground. Per Tacoma world all I need to do is run fused power to the lights and tap a switched ground to the dome light circuit.

I want everyone here to thank toyota for all the room they left around the 4.7. But everone needs to work on a v8 nissan sometime in their life. Im finally doing the radiator on dads q45, and a 10mm 1/4 drive socket fell into the void. 15 minutes of wire fishing and 2 cut knuckles to retrieve it. My fault for using the wrong extension, but i almost made the call to leave it.
