In MN front side windows can't be darker than 50%. I plan on getting it tested (either by a cop or a tint shop) to know for sure... but any opinions? Think this is more than 50%? I bet it is since it came from FL where I think 28% is max.

99% of FL vehicles will have darker that what the law says. The front looks like 15 or 20%. Any tint shop can tell you what it is. 50% will barely have any "smoked" color at all.

Forgot to mention....if you get it redone, ask for Ceramic tint. It will greatly reduce interior heat and UV rays.

That looks good, I would leave it be. And I agree that 50% will be barely noticeable at all. I got 35% on a wagon once and felt like I paid good money for nothing.

Here's 50% in the sun. You can notice the the window is rolled down just a smidge. Passenger window is rolled up. No tint on the windshield. I've seen much darker tint on the front driver/passenger side windows of our local sheriff office's patrol vehicles and the statute here is 50%...¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well, I took it off today. Found a really easy method involving windex and black plastic bags. Came off super easy and now I don't have to worry about the fuzz busting me on the way home after having a pop or two. :)

I would have left it. IIRC you would only get a warning ticket to remove it. Yeah a hassle..but it might of been a hassle that you would have never had to hassle with!

My guess is that the back windows were 20 and front were 30...they just look a bit different.

MN is a ticket. We're as bad as CA lol. And driving in the dark for the first time last night I didn't like the lack of visibility. And I have new transition lenses that work in the car. :)

Had mine done a little over a week ago. Was told by the shop the rears from factory are 20. The legal limit in CT for the fronts are 43 (how they came up with that number who the F knows). I went with 35 ceramic for the fronts figuring they were close enough to not attract attention. Went with 5 ceramic for the eyebrow.

In GA I went 20% all the way around and 50% on my windshield. 50% would be useless. That's a dumb law.

I have been toying with the idea of tinting my windshield - what’s your experience been with that? Any issues at night?

I had them put a 90% on mine. The side window is 15%. Clear is also available, as mentioned get the ceramic for heat rejection.

I have mine a little dark. Fronts are 20% on top of 35%(dealer installed), rears are 5% over factory, BG is 20% over factory. 5% brow over 80% full WS. For the 50% that would be way light, but like my WS, I did it mainly for heat rejection. I see alot of people around here with 35% and a few 20%. Too dark to be safe IMO. Although on my CRX I did 35% all around. WS too. It really sucked driving at night in the rain.
