I still blame Canada, it's always their fault. Doesn't matter what it is. it's probably their fault.

Got out of work an hour later than planned.

Went to replace the kitchen faucet and re-do the caulking behind it on the backslash. Got the old faucet off in 15 minutes, would have been faster but had to snap the 2 copper stubs off it. Cleaned up the old caulking and wiped the counter with alcohol, dried that up. Went to grab my new tube of caulking... couldn't find it. Saw another one, I always buy in pairs. Opened it up and stabbed it with a screwdriver, it was dry. Not sure how that happened. Fawk.

Hopped in the GTI and exceeded suggested speeds to hit tractor supply hoping they carry it. They carry the caulking gun but not the caulking. Off to Home Depot I went in a sea of traffic. Got the caulking, grabbed a $100 gift card for my sister in laws birthday, drove home fast.

Got the 2 beads laid fast and smooth. Grabbed my new faucet and slammed it on. Went to connect the supply lines and fawk me again! Cold side angle stop is a 2 port deal. Top port is 1/4" so useless, bottom port is 3/8" but the built in hose on the faucet is so skinny it kinked when I went to loop it. Had to find a new shut off valve in my garage and shut my water off, drain the house, swap the valve (behind the garbage disposal). Got it all back together and turned water on, leak tested and all that. Done and good to go, but its 8:00 and now my wife is complaining that she wants to leave in the morning instead.

Fawk. I only have one beer. Time for whiskey I guess. This is why I hate making plans, they always fall apart.

I'm offended you ran out of beers. Next time I want to see better plans. Make sure your caulk is good and the fridge is stocked.

my brother is deathly afraid of spiders, so the last time he visited, asshole took 20 min to get ready, so after all his quaffing, on the way out i scooped em off, and covered him. Aint never seen anyone (even tv people) so mad and panicky. Next time i’ll be ready to get it on video.

Is that a wolf spider? I typically don’t bother them outside but if one makes it past the door threshold…

One of these days battery/bomb capacity will increase enough to rival hydrocarbons.

My little sis just asked for me to check out apartments for her and her bf to see if I can find a deal for her since she's moving back here from Cali.

Talk about scams today; it seems 1 in 5 advertisements on craigslist is bogus. You can search on Google and find the same pics from houses currently being sold.

I'm going to have to recommend she find a realtor who deals in rentals.

Once you’re out, why would anyone go back to ‘your cousin, from bahstan’? City folk might have reasons, but they dont have 2 car garages, and it baffles me as a human. Like city vs rural space. Id like to have a basement, but it seems like less basement are garages than expected.

I often ask why anyone would come here as well; my guess is family. If you’re rich though, you could conceivably own beach front property that extends out to the low tide marker. The cape is also a good place to chill for the summer.
