That Corona my dad brought home turned a lot of heads. Wasn't much to it. Was red. So was the FJ. I remember my dad getting flak about selling "Jap" cars from his friends. Little did they know what was about to happen. The rest is history....

Old enough to remember using a rotary phone, watching Elvis Presley on t.v., after adjusting the “Rabbit ears, actually going outside to play and have fun, see Fire engines, police cars, and ambulances with a Big Round red light that used incandescent sealed beam bulbs, using a water fountain, getting into fist fights at school and not being charged with a crime…usually became good friends with the guy afterwards, when there was only 13 channels on t.v., when I had to go to the library to research and use the Dewey Decimal system…
And, when I didn’t have to get up during the night to go the bathroom. I wouldn’t trade it for anything…:D

13 channels?!?!? I had 4! At least as long as the wind left our TV antenna alone.

    Lots.
I'm old enough to remember the first TV remotes. My dad would say "change the channel" and I'd get up and run over to the old Philco black and white and turn the rotary dial to one of the three available channels. Looking back, 1956 was a great year to be born in.

I'm old enough that when I bought my first car, the owner's manual showed you how to adjust the valves. Now the damned owners manuals warn you not to drink the liquid in the battery.....

I take my mom out fishing on my boat twice a year. She's 93. She was 19 when she had me.
