I participate in weekly surveys from Toyota regarding my Tundra ownership. I never read too far into them and sometimes they are very targeted and sometimes very general. Sometimes, I don't have any idea what they're trying to determine or measure.

Today's survey was squarely on my interest in an electric, plug-in hybrid, hybrid, or diesel Tundra and a little more interestingly my interest in an inverter on the Tundra. The questions went right down to how many watts and amps I wanted, my preference for outlets in bed and inside and preferenced for watts vs how long I could run the inverter at full power at a specific wattage.

Anyway...not ground breaking but I thought interesting.

Hope you told them 10-15kw 3phase... :welder:

12kW with 30 amps and three 120v and a single 240v outlet was the max choice. They did not get into phases. I ALWAYS go with the biggest option! :)

I took that one yesterday. Found it...somewhat confusing. Like most of them.

12kw on a 240v outlet would actually be hella impressive, and useful

I basically told it I am mildly interested in a true hybrid or plug-in hybrid, but most interested in conventional gas or diesel.

Depends on the amps. He said the survey’s highest number was 30 amps. That’s only 7200w max. Still more than enough to run a house though.

I’d be less concerned about amps and more concerned about kWh of the battery. Toyota has always been conservative with battery tech and my guess if they’d put a battery strong enough to run your house for about 30 minutes.
