Yeah their house is in South Yarmouth, so it's the Pirates Cove mini golf and Chapin Beach sunset every time we go. Yeah my neighbor is Middletown FD so if things get to crazy...who am I kidding he'd be the one to start the shit.

Bach’ing myself this week while the wife is out of town.

 

The reason the shotgun was good for music was it set Dave free and we got Foo Fighters. Even though they aren't a band I really listen to, Dave is absolutely a rockstar. The other side of that coin is that Cobain's death boosted the band's popularity and I have had to hear so much of their stuff because "it's so good" that I'm sick of it. That might just be because I don't like grunge, and I'm glad it died as quickly as it did.

Kinda like Hendrix. Dude had mad skills, but when somebody dies in at the height of their popularity people start assigning legend status because they never had a chance to fall from grace and put things in perspective.

Makes it that much more "magical" that he died at 27 and fulfilled some legacy just like the dozens of others who dies at the same age. I think they are still adding members to that club of people I've never even heard of.
