Noticed a small leak on the inner tie rod boot. I wiped it 4k miles ago to see if it would duplicate. It did. Toyota said rack is shot and really bad. Need new one. Wouldn't cover it under my warranty at first, I remained calm, asked for names and contact information and they came back saying they could cover it. I still fall under my 3yr 36k warranty. They have no clue why it is bad.

No. I am curious. But getting it addressed and replaced at toyota is a good start

Already bad in a 2018? Also complete BS that they wouldn’t initially cover it under warranty. Especially if your truck is stock.

I am learning to be a more patient man. I still have 30k left for the 60k warranty
