I removed my TSS bed decal the day I bought my Tundra home from the dealership almost 7 years ago.
    Used a 3M eraser wheel.
I removed my TUNDRA and SR5 badges the next week.
Flossed them off with fishing line, no heat gun needed.

There are plenty of 3rd Gen 4.6 Tundras out there.
They don't have the iForce 5.7 badge on them...
    I kept that badge.
God forbid anyone think I had a 4.6..:eek2:

Check the build link in my signature.
Sorry - was off line most of the weekend.
You got me there. But the lettering in the bed stamps sits much lower and so far I've not noticed nearly as much accumulation. And I can get in there with a rag and clean it easily, where the TUNDRA and 4x4 badges were always a pain.

That's what makes this whole site so fun - we've all got different ideas of what looks good.

I’d do it on the tailgate for sure. I’m not a fan of the tramp stamp.

Thought about this and probably the easiest thing to do would be to trade out for a 2nd Gen tailgate if it would fit. Pretty sure you could find a taker wanting to swap for the 3rd Gen gate.

I want to debadge but want to keep one badge. Can’t decide which one. Tundra badge or 5.7 badge? If you had to choose one which one would you get rid of?

You can't debadge the VIN. That dealership is full of crap.

Mine is going in next week for a full ceramic coating and complete debadging. I may put the Tundra badge back on later, blacked out if I do. Also having the TRD Off-road bed stickers taken off. I am getting older and hope I can identify my truck afterwards when I do LOL.

Extremely easy to debadge yourself with a hair dryer and 20# test monofilament.

I am totally down with de badging/de chroming... And i hate decals more than i hate cheesie plastic chrome glued on to the paint. Best to debadge when new when the adhesive is still soft....mine lasted about a week. I did put the letters on the tailgate tho.... Now it says TOYOTA on the grill and TUNDRA on the tail...Who the hell has time to read all that other CRAP? I still have those lousy chrome door handles tho.

I keep going back and forth on whether or not to dechrome. Considering maybe Line Xing the grill, hood scoop and mirrors. Traded in my '19 Black TRD Pro for a '21 limited army green DC and do miss the simplicity of monochrome but personally won't be buying another black truck, but that's just me.

You should remove that vinyl on the B Pillar between the doors so I can see what it looks like on a white truck.
