    Hey everyone!

For the thirty plus previous years I've only owned two types of daily drivers, Chevy/GMC trucks, and the last seven being a Jeep Wrangler. My life has changed a bit and I need a bed again so I started looking at options. After a lot of research I thought I wanted a Tacoma, joined a forum for a month and started test driving a few. After a bit it became pretty obvious to me that the interior was just too small. Did more research and decided to go with a Tundra instead. I've been lurking here for a month, reading just about every thread relevant to the truck. There's a lot of good info here, it's obvious you guys love your trucks.

About three weeks ago a dealer I had been talking with had a buyer back out on an order, so for a refundable $500 deposit I have a 2021 Limited Nightshade edition with some nice options in MGM reserved for MSRP. No markup. The truck was built on the 4th and it's on the rail truck now.

Normally the used Tundra's here in the PNW are priced higher than new, so that's why I went with the Limited. However today I found a mint condition 2016 1974 in white with 24k miles and they are asking 10k less (43k) than the new one I have on order. Trying to decide if saving 10k is worth 24k miles and 5 years of age (no warranty). Either way, I'm almost there as I sold the Jeep privately yesterday.

I'm not a big poster, but looking forward to interacting with everyone here.

Welcome. I’d go with the new truck, but you’ll be good with either one.

it's not worth the 10k savings. Get the new Limited for msrp. I just did as well. It feels good.

Can't post pics my Tundra, but this is the 2014 Jeep I just sold. Bought it new as a stripped down Willys and built it up, did great on the resale.
