Curious as to who here traded in their Pro's for a non Pro? I had a 2019 Black Pro I traded into with a 2013 Tundra DC back in Oct '18? I liked the Pro in many ways but hardly used the roomy backseat for passengers may be 10 times in the almost three years I had it. I missed the longer bed length. Add to that the crappy stereo they in them, no BSM, no parking or traffic sensors, no heated seats or power to the passenger seat. Little less than 5 years ago I would've said you don't need all as it's a truck for God's sake. Well I am needing to recant that, solidly in my 60's I am turning into a partial old Phart. I felt a bit anachronistic driving an off-road beast around and not taking it actually off-road. Paying 51,250 for the '19 Pro almost three years ago and getting 50,000 trade in with 36k miles towards a '21 Limited Army green DC TRD Off-road for MSRP 48,333, I said yup, that's for me.

Yeah but it has a cool bed stamp and you can get exclusive colors that only thousands of other will have. Priorities man!

The practical matter of the numbers is that I spent/financed about 5500.00 more on the note to cover, title, registration and doc fees, transferring extending warranty coverage through Toyota (bumper to bumper 10 years/125K 0 deductible), transferring 7 year wheel and tire protection coverage, 5 year 75k maintenance and service plan, 450ish in sales tax and 2700.00 in added accessories. The bulk of the sales tax was covered by the trade allowance. That extended my payments 6 additional months to 3 years instead of the remaining 2 1/2 years at 2.0% for 20.00 more a month instead of the original 3.0%. Effectively it cost me about 2k a year to drive the Pro for close to 3 years and I owe half of what I paid for the truck on the existing note. It was a deal I couldn't pass up.
