    Hello fellow Tundraites,

We own a 2007 Tundra (2WD) in El Salvador, direct import as Toyota did not consider it a marketable truck locally.

I love it, best interior comfort ever. Plus, it hauls...
The only issue I have, is the TRD big brake conversion brake kit.

When new the braking was pretty poor, with the TRD it improved, but I get a bit of steering
    wheel shake at 60mph+
Tires are super well balanced, finishing the second set with 14 years and 13K miles. As new.
Are there better brake pads for the TRD big brake conversion.

Porterfields? Other brands, or stuck with TRD?

Thank you all for the kind help.

    Regards, Alberto

Welcome to the forum Alberto. Being in El Salvador what are your local sources? Is it hard to get items shipped down from the States?

Thank you Matt! My local sources are strictly USA and my Miami freight forwarder.

Can bring anything , Maritime or Air. No problems at all.
On occasion I am in California, and can bring all sorts of stuff in the luggage.

    Regards, Alberto

I could be wrong, but I think stoptech makes the BBK for Toyota. Maybe they will have some pads.
