the idiot light just glow solid yellow or will it glow and flash constantly?

I just bought a spare set of wheels and tires for fall time off-road work (hunting season). I will switch back to my normal street tires when the hunting season is over. Seems like the simplest and cheapest thing to do is just cover up the light, but if it’s constantly blinking, that might be real annoying. Anyone else do this?

I didn't install new sensors in my wheels initially. If I'm not mistaken, I had a blinking light at start up. After it finishes blinking, it just goes solid.

I did not reset mine for my winter tires, it blinks for like 5-10 miles then it stays solid. I have a 2012 though so I'm not certain if yours will be different.

For me it blinks for a little bit then it stays solid. I basically get around the block and it’s done blinking. Not that bad. Been living with it for a few years now.

Take cluster out put tiny piece of electric tape over light , you never notice it’s there
That’s if you get tired of looking at the annoying light

Is it necessary to take the instrument cluster out? Can I simply just block it out by applying tape to the plastic cover that shields the actual cluster?

30 minute job cluster out , this is more of a permanent fix ,
Never notice it , couple you tube videos taken cluster out ,
Tape over top of cluster is easier , be like a wart on end of your nose
    Always notice it

I guess no one has come up with a modification for a truck that new because of probably voiding the warranty.

I put my snows with plain steel rims on in December until April and the light is solid. I can live with it for a few Months.

If the idiot light just glows solid yellow, that means the tire pressure sensor works well but your tire pressure is too low, all you need to do is add some air to the tire 32~40 psi is the optimal pressure range for a tire. When the light glows and flashes constantly, that means the tire pressure sensor is not working, you need to replace the sensor or batteries in the sensor.

The right replacement of a tire pressure sensor will be like this, get a tire pressure sensor scanner that can read the product code of the sensor, then input the product code into the computer software and let it learn properly. The tire pressure sensor is properly installed When this step is done.(If you do not have a scanner, use a laptop that pressure sensor check software installed)
