    Check out Lifetime Coolers. https://www.lifetime.com/coolers

I looked at a bunch of brands, Yeti, RTIC, Pelican, and then stumbled on a Lifetime at a sporting goods store.
I wanted to like the Pelican coolers but they're shaped weird and not a lot of volume for the space they take up. Yeti and RTIC are fine, but pricey. The Lifetime coolers have all the same features but with vastly superior latches, and pretty affordable.

I’d get island fever pretty quick i think. You can’t go very far without running into water… road trips are pretty short. Last time i went, my wife and i stayed in Kona (big island) and rented a jeep. In two days we’d driven the entire island around and over including any major criss-cross route there was.
We saw a lot and had a great time, and would’ve loved to have spent a couple weeks really soaking it in, but that gives a feel for how small things are.
I think our next trip will be to molokai - skip all the touristy shit.

Yes. The PNW blackberries are a nasty thorny invasive weed, but right about now they are the tastiest thing on the whole planet.

FYI, the New Glarus brewery is still closed for visitors. And the Belgian Red I believe is released in Sept-Oct and doesn’t last long.

Never knew they were invasive. That sucks. Most of our invasive either burn your skin or kill other animals.

Have him bring you a sample. Uff-Da is a good one, @COMiamiFan knows about their Spotted Cow, and Fat Squirrel is good too. I’m also a big fan of the Raspbery Tart (which uses Oregon raspberries).

If you scratch dirt here, the blackberries will pop up in it and take over in no time. I’ve seen patches with canes that were over 1-1/2” thick with 1” long thorns. There’s a couple spots on my property where it’s a never ending battle to keep them from overtaking things (I refuse to use chemicals).

Sounds like our poison parsnip here. Roots longer than your arm and mowing it just spreads it more. Good for you not using chemicals. Not worth it.

Update on my jeans. Freaking JcPenney's basically said "That sucks." Wife couldn't find a shirt she wanted so she's going to travel around Bastrop and see if one of her clothing stores can unlock the tag and maybe find herself a shirt along the way.

I did watch some videos on how to do it myself and I was gonna throw them in the freezer because freezing the ink made the most sense (and it would give them that "crisp" Texas cowboy look for at least a few hours - win, win!) and then I could club the shit out of the tag which would be enjoyable. However, I read one last blog about tags and the dude said the youtube videos were full of shit and not to trust them, especially if you have an ink tag... The ink doesn't freeze. They fixed that hack. I would have looked like a failed bank robber for a week or two.

We also bought a big old hunk of Tillamook Colby Jack while we were at the Commissary on Randolph AFB. Mmmmmmmmm. Wife asked me to cut it for her (I'm good at "cutting the cheese" ;)) and I noticed a little bit of mold on one end. Figured, what the hell, it's cheese and pulled it out of the package. I deftly sliced the end off, flipped it over and it has little dead bug looking things on it. I thought it was dead ants at first but now I'm not sure (pictures attached). I bagged it back up and I'll try to get in touch with Tillamook tomorrow. Damn it. I anticipate their response to be "That sucks" and then silence. At first glance, that was a fine looking slab of cheese. I had actually grabbed a huge piece of Monterrey Jack but the wife wanted Colby Jack...

I couldn't find a gif of a bank bag exploding but I think this sums up my Saturday/Sunday pretty well. Tomorrow I may be the first person in the world to scream "Thank God it's MONDAY!!"

Heading out to pull weeds. Not the good Weeds either...

As I see it, you have two options for the cheese being that it’s Colby/Jack. 1 throw it in the garbage where it belongs. 2 eat it with the bugs to add at least a chance for flavor.
I’m confident your wife with come through buying a shirt.
