Here is a question for anyone that can answer it. I have a 2002 Toyota tundra SR 5 crew cab. In that year was the key fobs not standard for those years. I have two key fobs . One is messed up. So I bought the ones in the picture below. I took them to a locksmith and he couldn't get them to program to truck. He said he thinks the key fobs are after market ad on. And I need to go to dealer and check with them So any thoughts to this would be appreciated. Thanks.

All I will say is that for my truck, I had none. Tried two locksmiths and neither could do with their remotes. Ended up giving VIN to the dealer, they ordered, I programed, and they work great. Sometimes you have to go to the dealer...

Just do the programming yourself. For programming the factory security system and other functions like the immobilizer stuff, check reply # 20 over here: https://www.tundras.com/threads/need-help-disabling-automatic-door-locks.33158/#post-1931311

The PDF attached to the post talks through the security system and whatnot. It's a pain in the ass to get it into programming mode. The first time it took me like 10 tries. Even now, after doing it a number of times to adjust things like auto-locking the door after start/gear, add new remote fobs, etc. it STILL takes me at least 2-3 tries to get it in programming mode per the instructions.

Seriously. F going to the dealer. If that company says they'll work, try programming it using the factory manual attached to the reply I just linked to.

Oh wait - I just realized, the ones you bought are listed as for the Sequoia and have the rear rolldown button. May not be the same remote, but Toyota reused a lot of transmitter parts over the year so TRY IT!
