Installed Fox Overland Tailgate pad. Basically the same cover as RaceFace T2, but I have a hookup from a buddy at Fox. My first tailgate pad for bikes, so far it's great.

 

Just ordered TRD Pro Headlamps and @iHacker harness as well as HiRev Taillights. Truck will have a whole new look once I get those on and my C4 bumper comes in(early Oct ETA).

 

Good choice! I’m running both headlights (w/ iHacker harness) & tail lights you mentioned. Solid setup.

 

Been wanting to switch from my Spyder headlights to one of the OEM LED options for a while. Finally bit the bullet and figured I might as well switch to LED tail lights at the same time.

 

Installed the Transmission cooler that should’ve already come on our trucks

 

I haven’t seen anything about this before. Is there an issue with the transmissions overheating or something?

Haha. Yea had no idea. I don't have anything to tow/haul though either at the moment, so I hadn't gone down the rabbit hole of research.

No worries, it was a pretty big deal when toyota stopped putting Trans coolers in. When I got mine I had to double check that I had one even though I got the tow package.

 

I tow a boat of about 6k lbs. I haven't had any issues with transmission warnings or the like.

 

Ordered a C4 Overland bumper with an Extreme LED X6S light bar ( I do not like bumper insert light bars, so went inexpensive to fill the space). the 10 week wait begins..........NOW.

What trans temperatures are you seeing? Or are you going with the out of sight out of mind method?

 

This is my guess. The light on the dash doesn’t come on until 302.

I tend to keep it around 65 when towing our 6k pound TT, but even towing through mountains and across Texas in summer heat I've never seen any transmission temps over 220 on OBD Fusion. I wonder if those seeing much higher temps are driving faster or not using tow/haul mode? I do believe towing warrants more frequent transmission fluid changes.
